There are a few of us who need a proverbial kick up the nether - we need a wake-up call and that is what this challenge is all about. Not just getting finances sorted (although that is a major part), but other areas of our lives as well. So who is up for the challenge?

Oh Dragon, you don't know how well-timed this challenge is for me.

I've tried everything - challenges, lists, post-its, a diary. I've been feeling totally overwhelmed with the state of my life recently and have descended into lurkerdom. I just came on a few minutes ago looking for something to change my mood and there you were :T Thank you :D.

Sign me up and I'll be back with my (rather extensive) list in a bit.

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi Dragon,

Ooh a nice shiny new challenge place. I'd love to sign up if I may? What are my challenges?

1.) To get shipshape financially, which involves paying this lot off, saving a house deposit, and also saving a years salary for just in case. Simple right? I'll be about 102 when I've achieved this lot.

    2) To stop worrying so much about things I can't control. I read a forum on here about overdrafts being withdrawn, and suddenly panic that mine will tomorrow, so panic get everything out the wardrobe bar my bra and knickers to sell. If I carried on thinking like this, I would firstly drive myself insane, and secondly, never spend another penny again. Don't go on holiday, pay the money off the mortgage (which i don't even have yet), just incase you lose your job. I'm even not going to the cinema for £4.50 to see Sex and the City 2, even though I would love to see it, because I just dare not spend the money.

    3) Get my career sorted. I've got plenty of experience and qualifications, and I'm still scraping along on not an awful lot to be honest.
