  • It's normally £30 per week (not me, my younger brother) but are you in scotland(your avatar), maybe that would explain the higher rate

The bonuses were always £100 when I was in college but it can vary according to what it's for. I only got it for attendance!

It must be quite easy in comparison then at my college. All you need is above 80% attendence :D
  • My daughter was late one morning recently and had to write a letter as to why before she got hers paid so it sounded like 100% attendance or at least with notified absence.

I've checked through all the papers and looked at the website covering Scotland and I can't find anything that actually refers to how much the bonus will be.

  • You should get the £100 bonus if you continue on the same course after the summer. I recieved all £500 of my bonuses which were for attendence, progress and continuing into the second year of A-levels.
They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!

Completely depends on your college, they can choose not to give it if his exam results are poor or anything. Their choice.

My daughter got a £100 bonus a couple of weeks ago. She has good attendance, although she lost her EMA one week for a while because she was at college and had a interview with a tutor, about her progress it over run and she was 5 mins late for next class the tutor didnt mark here in even when the thing they mark was still in class, it was a over sight. She got it eventually 2 weeks late

I dont understand about these bonuses though
