    Ebay's going very well indeed.

Since my last post we have sold allot of stuff on ebay.

The time it takes to do the following is crazy: take a picture, put it on ebay, wrap it, label it, drive to post office, put stamps on it, drive back. Can I reduce the timings on some of these steps somehow?.

Anyway rant aside :D. After post and packing costs & ebay / Paypal fees deducted we have made just under £400 this month. So hopefully this should put a small dent in the monthly figures and maybe even change the outcome of the project milestones above.

I'm going to try and put some more bits on ebay before the weekend.

Myself and my daughter took over 30 parcels to the post office last night. Spent ages putting all the individual stamps on them. I'd already spent a good 2 hours previously wrapping them up and putting address labels on them. Surely there has to be an easier way of doing this. The time it takes to do the following is crazy: take a picture, put it on ebay, wrap it, label it, drive to post office, put stamps on it, drive back. Hi Ash,

You can pay for the postage online through paypal, which also gives the address label for you to print - two steps in one :)

Congratulations on all you've done so far!

    Hi Ash,

Hope you don't mind me popping in, just wanted to say how well I think you're doing.

Think it's a bit of a recurring theme - we all want to pay the debts back but for some reason life likes to get in the way whether it's paying for the car or giving in and buying a treat.

But we all will get there in the end.

    Good luck! :)

Thanks for posting Beccie, I was begining to think no one was reading my thread :).

I think we have had some good months and some bad ones but that's life I guess. I like the challenge, a bit more than the wife does. She has to tell me to talk about something else now and again because I get too tied up in it all.

  • I'm reading, not always posting, but always reading!

I know what you mean about getting tied up in it all, sometimes you just get so focussed on getting the debt down that it seems to take over!

I think that's quite normal - we all get obssessed with debt-busting!

Think it's better to be thinking all the time about what we can do to pay it back and get on top of it though rather than worrying all the time bout how we will pay the next bill etc.

That's why I like having a diary - everyone here is more than happy to talk about it non-stop and gets just as excited as I do bout paying something off! :)

I've just heard some exciting news :p.

My Electric and gas bills have just gone down from £151 a month to £103 a month.
Our daughters nursery fees go down in Jan as we get 15 hours free a week (she's currently in for 50 a week i.e. 8-6 mon - fri), so that's another £206 a month savings.
Then also in Jan we have another £200 a month as my wifes course finishes.

So that's another £450 a month to go towards the debts :D. I'm so chuffed. I've worked it all out and we could get the Debt free date down from Oct 2014 to Jan 2013 :T:j
