Hubby flirting with ex-girlfriend and I just found out - thoughts please

Hubby and I have kept talking about this back and forward right up until bedtime and we are both fully in agreement- I have no issue with anything he does or anyone he wants to speak to (even his exes) but dont hide stuff from me.....

The ladies who said he needed an outside perspective from someone who knew him well were spot on. He has been stressed out and so this is what he wanted/needed and the lady in question is also married now with a family of her own and is 300 miles away!

So maybe I over reacted LOL however all I want is a happy marriage with a partner I trust.... I refuse to spend my time being paranoid which is why I wanted this sorted and the comments all helped my perspective and to get my head straight.

For those who think I want to have a go at men in general or snoop - get a life. I was NOT snooping, innocently playing with my other halfs phone as he does with mine. How could I know what was on there? And I'm very glad I did, I would not change it if I could....

Hello everyone, I'm Jinx's husband (yes honestly)

We have had a good chat (and a few tears) and my wife now understands the situation. The contact with my ex was purely for advice from someone who knows me but is no longer in my life so they would be impartial.

The fact that I kept it from my wife was just me trying to be the strong man and deal with things 'on my own' when really I needed some help. I chose not to burden my wife with these things as she's got enough to deal with (both of us are seeking jobs after redundancy or short term contracts) so things are quite stressful at the mo.

The fact that she's letting me post on her login should tell you we are very much in love and above all will be the best couple ever:) and will get through the commimg times.

i can understand the wanting to talk to someone who has been in oh's position (ie ex) but why do you men be sneaky and hide it? it makes you look so guilty lol - i also understand you will say because your partner would be so jealous they'd hit the roof - but if you explain BEFORE they find out (ie mention you've been back in touch) there will be nothing to be mad about!

You create these problems for yourselves lol
