Evening
I'm declaring £453.20 for June, £13.20 over which isn't too bad.
I like having a weekly delivery but I have spent about £13.50 in June on delivery charges which is probably a bit high and could be avoided with a bit more planning. Trouble is I don't like planning!August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -

Please could you put me down for £140 for JULY please, Thanks for running this thread Mrs. M and others and keeping us on the straight and narrow.:A
Finding it easier to have NSD days lately, I have been buying and freezing lots of milk and bread (when on offer) and I think that keeps me out of the shops also with meal planning I have been a lot more flexable ie: if I haven't got an item I will try to substitute something else instead or do without. It seems to be working for me anyway .
Got quite a nice little holiday box(tins etc for caravan holidays)tucked away so quite pleased to see how that's building up. Usually have to have a big spend before we go away to France at end of July as food is so expensive over there. should only need Ham, cheese and bacon etc. and I will fill the cake tins before we go. That's enough ramblings from me so good luck for July's challange everyone and I will add receipts and post later. x Savvyshe:)M&S 2,200.00

Sorry I didn't post last week - I went away for a few days. Anyway my total spend up until 29th June was £38.98 which means I've come in under budget. I'm going to add the surplus to next month because I've someone coming to stay for a few days and that means buying meat which is something I wouldn't normally do and will increase my expenditure.
So, I'm declaring £38.98 for June. See you all over on the July thread.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅0 -
Please can I declare for June at £237.76?:j
Fairly happy with that as we had one well deserved takeaway but I decided not to count the Fathers' Day meal for my DH and dad.
(That's another story grrr... we were asked by my mum to make a course each. I made a fancy seafood starter from scratch, bought and cooked all the veg for the main course, generally did most of it to let mum relax...and my sis turned up with a warm, "plastic", readymade trifle from the Spar, claiming that's all she had time for! I know, I know, different strokes etc and she has no kids and is about as far from OS as you can imagine, but really? :mad:It was the lack of thought I suppose that annoyed me, but maybe I need to reduce my expectations of other people sometimes! Rant over!)
