For what it's worth is it possible that Tesco has put a bar on Co-op cards that were previously barred (before the bin no was changed?) but new Co-op cards are being accepted?

It was groceries I ordered from.

    So its happy days.

Well as happy as current days get...

What is the AID number on your recepits is it 31010 or 321010, mine is 321010 and it doesn't work at tesco or pay@pump. My card is quite old. I'll order a new one and see if that makes a difference.

If its 321010 its automatically blocked at pay @ pump.

I went to Asda tonight to fill up with my Visa debit and it would not take it, thought it was just a faulty machine and reverse into another pump but same thing happened! got a bit of a fright as I had received my wages yesterday and had not checked the bank to see if they had come in - so was really worried. I drove round to ASDA and went to the ATM to check my money was in - phew it was! then went to the next petrol station (Shell) and the same thing happened! went into the kiosk and asked why I could not pay at the pump and told the guy what had happened. He said he was in the back when it happened but heard the system make a farting sound and when he came to check he saw the system spit out my card (not joking):rotfl:- i am obviously on crap wages!!

It says in the terms and conditions that came with your account that the card with not work at pay @ pump terminals.

No, it looks like that maybe that Tesco have in fact updated their BIN database. Will be interesting to see if others are having any joy with Tesco.

I care not, as all the above services I take no advantage of.

However, of concern is that, some ASDA filling stations are fully automated....others have additional till operators....I noticed this yesterday...oh well.....nipped round to Tesco and they got my custom instead...and while I was at it, I nipped into the shop and bought stuff...... raspberries to ASDA then?
No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......

I'm just a little concerned that it seems to be people who are new to using their Cashminder debit card at Tesco's that are having success - as far as I can tell none of us who have previously been refused have had any luck getting groceries from Tesco's - unless someone knows better!! I would be delighted to be proved wrong as I like shopping there and miss getting my groceries on line from Tesco's (yes I know I could use a prepayment credit card but I prefer just having 1 card).

If their cards start 4508, then they are the same as the rest of us with the coop visa debit.
