Mine starts with 4508 and I can use mine with Tecso grocerys online.

On some sites, mine is recognised as a Visa debit and on the bank security page when I was paying for something last week, it said Visa Delta.

I can't use mine on Debenhams, M&S or BHS sites though.

My Co-Op Cashminder card has worked at tesco.com...happy days!

    Therefore...

I suggest Toe Jam that you check your facts and read up on the forum before posting. How hard is it..I mean come on...whats wrong with the world...for Gods sake etc etc etc

Go you..and god speed your recovery. The card has always worked on tesco.com, its just the grocery section it had issues:o Try that and see how you get on.

I apologise for any ill feeling I may have caused you.

Toe-Jam can I delicately suggest that if you have a coop cashminder visa debit card ,that you perhaps try yourself to purchase stuff from the tesco.com grocery dept then you will see for yourself if it works yourself for once and for all .Just a suggestion to clear this up for once and for all ;)

I went to Asda tonight to fill up with my Visa debit and it would not take it, thought it was just a faulty machine and reverse into another pump but same thing happened! got a bit of a fright as I had received my wages yesterday and had not checked the bank to see if they had come in - so was really worried. I drove round to ASDA and went to the ATM to check my money was in - phew it was! then went to the next petrol station (Shell) and the same thing happened! went into the kiosk and asked why I could not pay at the pump and told the guy what had happened. He said he was in the back when it happened but heard the system make a farting sound and when he came to check he saw the system spit out my card (not joking):rotfl:- i am obviously on crap wages!!

The cashminder card used to be a Visa Electron, on the card it is now a Visa Debit. I asked Co-Op about this and they said it will take until 2011 for it to show as a standard debit card. At the moment it is technically still an electron in disguise.. lol ..

Doesn't work for Tesco online shopping either..

    Or at Kwik Fit.

Ordered my shopping today from Tesco with my co-op card.
