I don't have any other name I'm afraid, would probably ring the PPI team and ask to speak to a manager? Good luck, hope you get it sorted

Is it 28 working days - or just 28 calendar days? my letter didn't say, but if they say 28 working days then it would give them longer.

Best of luck though, and let us know how you get on! I'm thinking of calling them about mine too - see if I can get an estimate of when it'll go in from them.

    i think it's 28 calendar days

jeez if it was working days you'd wait nearly 6 weeks for your refund

I just cant help feeling fed up about it though, they've had my money for 4 years now and when they say yep we'll pay you back they hold onto it for as long as they can

I had appraisal for Natwest a few weeks ago but it seems the same banking trend is coming out - No wonder we have no faith in the banking industry

    Hi and welcome.
    Good luck with your reclaiming.

Its difficult to predict a timescale, as this can vary, due to the fact of them having so many to deal with.
But they do have 8 weeks in full to give you a decision, sometimes they request for extra time.
They do give the details of the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) with a response, so it would therefore be up to you, just as long as the 8 weeks have passed - if your willing to give them extra time to investigate.

Hopefully though they will come back with a good decision by then, good luck.;)
