Natwest PPI reclaim

Hi all,
Just out of curiosity i rang the PPI concerns team as it's been 4 weeks since i submitted my claim and i have never recieved any aknowledgement that it was being dealt with
To my suprise the guy i spoke to said that they recieved it on (5/5/10) and that they are now calculating figures and they would be in touch
My calculations should be straight forward 21 x £69 = £1449 so why do they have to work it out? is it to do with the 8% on top?
Sorry if it's a newbish question i just thought it would be straight forward to work out what's owed
He did say they have a few more days to deal with it or they will ask for another 4 week extension but he doesn't forsee a big delay though
Best regards
Rossy

I will do Di !
Pretty excited tbh, If it wasn't for this site and it's members encouragement i'd probably not have even bothered. Can't argue really for a quick letter print out and the cost of a stamp !

Still awaiting payment
Wish Natwest would hurry up and pay up, Seems as if they are gonna stretch it to the 28 days of paying out
Ironic though isn't it, when you owe money they are hot on your tail with demands etc but when it comes to paying you they drag their feetIf Adam and Eve were created first
