All the interest they'll be earning on our money is incentive enough not to refund it quickly!

I may give them a push about mine, see if I can get it moved higher up the pile!

    yeah i would,

My 28 days is up in a few days anyway but would be nice if it turned up now. Not sure how it's paid in though i.e BACS??

do you think it would go in after midnight or be paid in at any time?

I'm not sure, would imagine internal transfer. I believe they can show after 6.30pm sometimes, must be when their systems update?

Gonna send them a quick fax now, see if I can speed them up a bit!

    Haha good luck !

How have you found them in dealing with your case ?

It may sound random but i've been really satisfied with their responses and general help when i've phoned. Maybe it's just my case officer but he's really nice and polite and does go out his way to deal with anything i raise with him - I'm going to write a letter in to commend his work tbh - is that normal lol?

I've only spoken to them once over the phone, but they were surprisingly helpful - and can't fault how quick they were getting back to me offering me a 'goodwill gesture' back.

Was expecting a bit of a fight from them to be honest, especially because one of the loans I reclaimed from was over 6 years ago!

I think a letter would be a nice gesture, I'm sure they get a lot of stick over the phone so some thanks would no doubt cheer them up!

Does anybody have an idea on how Natwest pay back your PPI refund ?

Is it direct into your account or via Cheque ?

According to my letter it'll go direct into my current account with them.

Nothing back yet then? My 28 days is up next weekend...

I'd call them - I don't see why it should take 28 days anyway

I can understand they have a lot of complaints to deal with but why can't it be a simple as :-

Yes we are going to refund you ( Money on stand by )

Acceptance slip returned ( Money paid in same day )

Why it takes 28 days is beyond me

Yeah thats what I think - I wouldn't be surprised if they just have a set day each month where they process everything thats arrived in the previous 4 weeks.
