could possibly get it cheaper at a breaker, ebay is actually MORE expensive than buying direct from ford - go figure

anyways i have found a bit online where someone has fixed theirs with tent pegs and some glue so if i can get it open i will be looking at doing that, if its possible with what ever damage i might have caused to get it open

on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

I went and saw her; double my inhalers for now. Also got NRT stuff so I can stop smoking! I said Monday, but if I feel up to it, I'll be starting before

Why Monday? Becasue its a new week? Do it NOW and break the psychological barrier of the calendar;)

Luc, I was thinking tomorrow - I don't want to stop halfway through a day, it'll throw me out. And it gives me time to go get Polos and stuff with supermarket vouchers

How many would you smoke between now and bedtime normally? Try halfing it perhaps? Try displacement activity - every time you crave a ciggie do 20 push ups instead...

  • Morning all!

I ended up watching Kill Bill after all. I'm glad I stayed up, I really enjoyed it. Dean downstairs and his girlfriend woke me up at 2 in the morning doing certain activities, so I've had a bit of a lie-in. I'm going to put some washing in then go for a shower. It's due to rain at about 1 in the afternoon so I'm thinking I'll wait until it's finished and then stick the washing out to dry, rather than chancing it by trying to dry it before the rain starts. And then onto more essay writing. I didn't hit 1000 words yesterday, not by a long way, but that's ok as I realise that was a bit unrealistic anyway.

@ claire - Hope your leg feels better soon. I've forgotten who it was last night who suggested stretching exercises but that sounds good, it might help untrap the nerve, whereas painkillers would just mask it.

@ Luc - Really wish I could join in but my debt-busting's on a bit of a hold until the camping trip's over. It's gonna be an expensive weekend. :(
