Pooky, not sure if anybody`s mentioned it to you but would you not be better with a commode for your hubby?? That way if he`s really struggling 1 day then he has no need to go upstairs, it would just mean that you would have to empty it.

Claire i would let him go to school tomorrow, then maybe go & get a nice plant to put into a container, thats what i did for my old dog, i had him cremated but then brought a lovely red rose called loving memory & planted it into a container & now every year when it flowers it makes me smile & think of my old boy.AT LBM 7/1/08 (£24,018.09)- 25/09/11 (£13,032.25) - 26.04.15 - £6,429.70

Poor kid has cried himself to sleep
, gonna try and get him upstairs and to bed. I'm not sure whether he will cope with school he is very sensitive, will see if hes ok in the morning though.

wish i could join you all today but my bloody cars glove box handle has snapped off and it appears that its gonna cost about £30 to get a new one - once and if i can get back into the damned thing.
Got any mates with murky pasts? I hope I'm not offending you but I was an army wife for a while and there's an amazing bank of lock picking skills in the bottom ranks infantry if you smile sweetly and don't ask where they learned to do that!
Or you might find your local scrapyard will be only too happy to help if it means they can sell you a handle (usually for a lot less than brand new). Even one and two year old cars find thier way into scrapyards (they get crunched) so it could be worth a shot?
Good luck. Hope you see this."I, on the other hand, am a fully rounded human being with a degree from the university of life, a diploma from the school of hard knocks, and three gold stars from the kindergarten of getting the sh*t kicked out of me." ~ Capt. E. Blackadder0
