Mine's now in the oven. Thanks mr be, and please also thank your mum from me, that has to be the easiest cake recipe ever! I hope it comes out as well as yours did - that final piccie is gorgeous!
Can't wait to try a piece. I've got visitors coming tomorrow though, so I don't think it's going to make it to the 3 days in foil stage :rotfl: I should have made it on Friday.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -

Did you know you can make your own yoghurt with just a couple of tablespoons of plain yoghurt and a half litre of milk? Might be cheaper if you bake any more yoghurty cakes. I'm dead impressedYou - only you- will have stars that can laugh :rotfl:

Is it out yet? Test to see if it's ready; it should spring back when you press it with a finger, and have begun to shrink away from the side of the tin.

Oh yes, it's out. And it's perfect! Mr newleaf is circling the kitchen like a lion that's not been fed for a week... Looks like I've got to make something else now otherwise this yoghurt cake isn't even going to make it to the 'visitors tomorrow' stage!

Mr newleaf is a very lucky chap if you're making him spare cake to keep him going until the cake's ready! :AIf you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0
