To be honest I'm not convinced about the wiping it and reusing bit, but cakes certainly don't stick to it. You don't have to buy it mailorder as these people have shops. There is one in Solihull.

I'm not sure about Christmas cake, as me mum does that - I'm normally still eating it in March.
I have a whole roll of greaseproof paper to use before I start thinking about parchment. It'll probably last me about 5 years.(but thanks!)
