Couldn't just post a quick recipe with bloke-style instructions could ya? :whistle:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

Hang on while I "test" another bit and
Well, I can taste something, but only in the first bite. It improves considerably with each successive bite.
Can one of you experts please tell us if a small cat could replace the veggie oil with butter if it were so required? If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

Thought those WERE the blokey instructions - you want more???
:rolleyes:0 -
I guess you could use melted butter instead, but cakes made with oil are very moist, if you made it with butter I think you'd probably lose that quality. I can't taste any oil in it. I used 'Mazola' corn oil in mine.
I cut it yesterday, after only 1 day in foil, and it was very good indeed. I've had another piece this afternoon and it has definitely improved further. It's a brilliant recipe - and I've already passed it on to a couple of people!Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -
