I got an update from Experian yesterday to tell me that Dialaphone (these people) had credti checked me, even after telling me that they were not going to supply the phones. Any one else had this?

thanks for your help - but the virgin card won't work because there is no network for them where i live:(. i nedd to use a sim card from a local company.

When i try the virgin sim and press 1234 i seem to get the speaking clock - but nothing else.

Sorry Jules, hadn't read your post. Just annoyed me, that is all! Did you call them to complain?

no I hate phoning these places and I've 3 kids who always seem to make lots of noise when I'm on the phone.

It's wrong of them to do it though when we got turned down, I guess it's their standard thing.
