Oh well, I won't have to wait in all day for a couple of phones :j
Won't use them or phones4U ever0 -
Obviously no one knows the truth in this case but just to let you know that banks can decline to pay out even when you have sufficient funds in your account.
A lot of company's try to take £1 from your account to make sure there is enough funds there to start with. I know that HBOS think this is a bit dodgy and then refuse any other payments to the company. As far as im aware the £1 never actually comes out your account its just held and then when they take the full payment it gets released back to your bank account.Married 30/08/14 :heartpuls0 -
Hi everyone, just been on the phone to Customer Services and she was very pleasant. She said it was an IT issue and that when the phone was ordered I was supposed to order the £10.00 top up with it and because I didnt the order automatically cancelled itself. I can still order the 1p phone but need to get the £10.00 top up with it. The payment that was taken from my Bank was a Ghost payment and would show in my account in a couple of days again. Hope this helps.Winnings 2009: Rimmel Pro Lycra Nail Polish.

I ordered this as well, got my card declined so I rang them, they took my card details and it went through, said phone would be here wednesday.

Oh well looked like a good deal at the time.0 -
Just had an email delaying the delivery of the phone which includes credit. estimated now monday.
Couldnt get 1p offer to work anyway without buying top up and had a feeling those that did would have order cancelled.
Has happened to me on other things before and have made a fuss in the past, got a £5 voucher from hmv when it happened with them but you have to accept these things happen and companies can get out of honouring the deal!0 -
I can't find mention of it on their site, but my mate showed me his new mobile yesterday that cost 10 quid with 10 quid credit on it...so free basically ...Asda is where he got it.
Belay that http://direct.asda.com/Alcatel-OT222-on-Orange-Pay-As-You-Go-%EF%BF%BD10-airtime!/008713363,default,pd.html is what he got and it's 9 quid so a quid profit lol
