    Jesus, grow up.

Maybe you should consider following your own advice. I am surprised you are allowed to stop up so late....

Reading of the following is optional...For info customer services say emails and sales fault of IT glitch, system should not have accepted the phone order without simultaneous purchase of a top up (note: page now taken down) and EVENTUALLY the £1 would be refunded but this could take some time (see T&C). Was reminded that they have the right to cancel purchase at any time. However be aware that the alleged IT fairy noted on my account (and probably the rest of you) "PAYG funds not available." (big lie) She couldn't explain why but a manager will call me back???? forgot to ask if the lack of funds bit got feed back to the credit reference agency via the same automated process that sent the emails out in the first place.
  • got the same email.
I guess the "IT Glitch" was a disgruntled computer programmer who thought he'd stick two fingers up at his employer after resigning. OP - what do you think of this theory?

Oh well. I took a punt on a bargain phone. It didn't come off and I didn't lose anything so life goes on.

That is a very mature attitude, and it reflects well on you.
