I have just spent the last hour juggling my spreadsheet at work and managed to find the £7.65 I needed to get my balance to £13,500 on the dot.
I have to wait until 27th for pay day, I get my credit card statements tomorrow though so that's something to get excited about lol!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

I don't get statements anymore - I think it's because I do all my stuff on-line and I end up chucking it away anyway. I was hoping to have the Egg card cleared by now, but alas, I've fallen behind with my efforts to clear it. I think I'm just going to have to try harder!Adam's diary - My Debt Diary - The Challenge | LBM May 2010 with £23,343.35 | £16,141.46 to go...

How much is left on the Egg card now Adam? Sure with a bit of a push you'll be able to do it!Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

My spreadsheet has about 8 tabs on it with different graphs and numbers showing all sorts of things for me to analyse LOL
I think there's £760 left on the Egg card. I'm going to apply for a 0% card to transfer it onto as I think I will have it for a few months yet. I bank with Lloyds so going to get an airmiles card as I have about 1500 airmiles with them at the moment and if I take out the card I get 1500 miles, and then to BT over the amount I get another 200 or something I think
I have to wait to do it though because last year I put a block on my account to prevent them lending to me to keep me out of the !!!!, and they wont take that block off until the 25th, so will apply again thenAdam's diary - My Debt Diary - The Challenge | LBM May 2010 with £23,343.35 | £16,141.46 to go...

I only have 1 spreadsheet! :rotfl:
Probably cos I am on a DMP though so I don't have the snowball issue and interest etc. I feel like I am not part of the club now though so I might have to introduce some graphs and the like

Do you ever get any hassle on your DMP from creditors?
I very nearly went down this route with payplan, signed all the paperwork and backed out at the last minute as I couldn't face the hassle. I'm glad I didn't do it now as doing on my own terms has changed my whole attitude towards money so it's worked for me. I still think DMP's are a very good solution to debt problems though and are a real life saver for some people.LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Hi Woo,
I have had absolutely no hassle from Creditors at all since going on the DMP, I have to say I was dreading it to begin with but if I ever did get a call or a letter I would just say I was with payplan, give them my ID number and that was the end of it. I guess in that sense it worked very well. That said, if I had known then what I know now I might have done something similar to what you guys do and dealt with it myself. I sometimes feel like the DMP demotivates you as you can't pay over and above your 'regular' payment and unless you can save loads as you go along (which obviously you aren't supposed to be able to do) it can be quite hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
