Hawaii in September :D I've not re-worked my payments yet, but I'm using my bonus to pay for it and what ever is left over I will put onto debt. My snowball doesn't include any bonus or expected pay rises either so it wont send me backwards, just means I wont be moving forwards as quickly as I would have hoped...

Wow, Hawaii, that is awesome! I was right, I am so jealous!!! :D

That's good that you'll be able to use the bonus. It's the same as I decided to justify my weekend away. As they are not included in the snowball it just means you don't go forward. But you're not going back and that's the important thing. Just think before you would have paid for that with debt, and then not only was it backwards but interest would have been piled on.

    Enjoy that holiday!!! :D

Ha-ha thanks guys! It should be a good break! I hope so anyway. Nothing is final yet. We're looking at costs/flights/hotels at the moment, so just working out logistics and finances. Providing it doesn't end up being too much we should book it soon. It's about 90% confirmed at the moment anyway, but exciting :D

We're planning on going to Honolulu! Lost was filmed on Oahu, so I'm really excited to try and see some of the set where it was filmed. Thinking about heading to the states for a couple of days at the end of the holiday, but not decided where yet.

I am incredibly jealous ;). Have you ever seen the film 50 first dates? If not, see it! It's a bit of a chick flick but all the men I have known who watched it enjoyed it and it's set in Hawaii!

You have got me in holiday mode now......:D

I am now so jealous I am not sure you can be my 'diary buddy' anymore ;)

It sounds awesome and travelling is definately something I want to do more off when I am back in the black, I want to get a world map on a cork board and put red pins in all the places I want to go, then I can replace them with blue ones when I've been!

I am sure there is something like this you could do on the net but not found it yet!!!

Heeeeeeeey you can't abandon me now :(

You can use WAYN as a way to track your journeys. Not sure how good it is, but my friend uses it all the time. I thought about doing this but I rarely get the travel bug (although been to a lot of places over the years).

Holiday is booked and paid for now. Did it over the weekend. Staying in a cheap hotel in Hawaii for 6 nights and New York for 2 nights! I'm so excited!!

I worked out that if I make another £70 payment to my debt, I will be below the £21k mark on my debt, so waiting for all my payments to clear on my debts this month, then will make the payment and post progress :D

You know I'm thinking bout abandoning you too! Only joking, make sure you enjoy every minute of it! :)

New York is amazing! Have you been before? I've been three times now during my spending days! Although one doesn't count, one time was a prize from one of the first competitons I entered on here actually if you can believe it! If you get the chance to, make sure you go to Coney Island, it's bout half hour on the subway but so so worth it!

Can't wait for you to let us know that you have gone sub 21K! :D
