doing another job application. Hate the bit where you have to write about your experience etc. I don't have a problem with knowing what to put but it's the pain of having to sit and write it all.

Katsu that's the sort of thing I do, although usually I forget to turn the cooker on.

There's a thread on dt about take aways, it's made me really want pizza or fish and chips. I will resist!

Counts towards your 5 a day Scaredy.

I'm catching up on some paperwork, I've torn myself away from watching grand designs from about 7 years ago.

I'm watching a dodgy horror, so I'm probably not going to feel like food for a while!

Claire - That does sound like sciatica - the Dr should be able to give you some different tablets if ibruprophen is upsetting you or as Katsu suggested, a tens machine might help. I used to get sciatica a lot after a car accident and found stretching helped.....I get flare ups now and then but try and stay as dosed up and active as possible.

I've achieved nothing today - which was the aim. DH's friend popped in for coffee so I left them too it for an hour and had a crafty nap....then DH spent the afternoon in bed so it's been very quiet.

Tons to do tomorrow so an early night is planned.

  • My housemate Ben's rented Kill Bill and the Wicker Man (the original), both of which I love. I asked him to give me a knock if he puts either of them on but I'm getting really tired now and I almost wish he wouldn't watch them tonight. Which is stupid since I really enjoy both of them and I should make more of an effort to socialise with my housemates. I just really want an early night as well.
