Another stunning day here, up to date with washing so no washing machine on for me today
decided to try the hoover on the floors downstairs because my hip is hurting today, and brushing the floors irritate it more, took longer but the floor is cleaner, so gave them a wash and rehoovered when they were dry, even did passage and rugs in porch
got to make beds and hoover upstairs and get the ironing done.
Ordered a new phone though top cash back (£80 for a contract with 3 ) asked for it to be delivered today, i haven't had a confermation i'm going to get it though, so dunno if it is going to turn up, (hope so though, its more minutes than my current contract with unlimited text and unlimited internet and its £6 a month cheaper !! onlly £19 instead of the £25 i'm paying now)
off to make beds and get a coffee see you all later.

            Where are you all?!
My plans for today are basically essay writing and some laundry. I'm going to Boscastle camping on Fri and I want my current essay, if not completely out of the way, at least nearly finished by the time I leave. So I'm aiming to do at least 1000 words today.
What's everyone else up to?

morning all very dull here but hey,
i have chilled a little bit from yesterday as i have kind of accepted that its the way of the world with jobs that you will get passed up for some and screwed over for others, just got to keep my eyes open for a better one and something will turn up at least i am still currently in a job which is a lot more than some other people
Claire well done on your deal i do hope you get the phone today however be warned 3 are not the most reliable for paying out cashback deals from what i have heard (have been looking as my wifes contract is up within the next 2 months) so try not to set your hopes on getting the £80 but be contented with the fact you have shaved £6 a month from your contract anyway

on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
Well done Gonzo. It's irritating sometimes but things usually work their way round.
I've lost my job but I really want a change and it's given me a chance to work for a housing charity....plus I never fitted in with the team I was working with (lots of assuming you knew what you were doing and them blaming and pointing when you got it wrong!)
I'd like a job, but when the weather goes downhill please!

            Morning all
Grey and drizzly here this morning which is fine by me - not got any plans to go out....DH needs a day off from the world.
I've just whizzed round with the hoover and blitzed the kitchen, now need to sort the bank accounts out and finish wrapping DD2's pressies for Friday.....she's having a sleepover for her birthday, going to be ordering pizza and have got her c0cktail shaker, glasses and umbrellas etc....DH will be barman for the evening....so need to go google some non-alcoholic c0cktails and will print some up like a bar menu."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. Pooky, most alcoholic ones as virgins are really nice, especially Mojitos and Daqueri, yum.
I have loads of study to do later, two units at least need doing so I can start my TMA early next week as things are going to be mad at work after the half term.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
            Well washing machine is on
, went to make Naths bed it was wet
(he's doing better though, so not complaining,)
Just had some toast and finishing a cup of coffee, then i'm going to take the washing that doesn't need ironing (took off line last night) put into respective bedrooms, then put hoover over upstairs, need to hoover the stairs too, but don't know if i will attempt that, (even though new hoover is very light and i can now carry it around, not sure if my balance will allow me to hoover the stairs
) Don't want to land in a heap at the bottom, with the hoover on top of me
.
And I must get the ironing sorted.
Pooky your daughter will love the cocktail menus etc.Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
