I'm currently going through the process having made my decision to go BR in the last few weeks. Am hoping that it's the right thing to do!!

Am looking for an agent to do everything on my behalf. Has anyone heard of or dealt with Lehman & Prichard? Had things through from them but before I send anything off, just wanted to check.

    Thanks everyone!

hi, i have been on a dmp for 3 years facilited by a free financial/money advisor supplied by my work who is ex CAB head of money advisor. I did mean an IVA, i read somewhere that if you have not been on one then the court can suggest that instead of bankrptcy.

The court will not suggest anything, you will be asked by the judge whether you have received advice, and if you have and are insolvent then there should not be a problem

you don't necessarily need an agent to help you, most people on here do it themselves. the forms are not difficult, and any questions can be posted on here

please make sure you take advice from one of the free debt charities, such as the national debtline, cccs or CAB, they are very good and will help you free of charge
