Hi You can get the cake release spray from Lakeland or you could just grease it well. I use flora or spray oil.

Hi,
You don't need 'cake release' (to be honest I have never heard of it! lol).
All you need is to grease the inside of the cake mould with butter or marg (just use your fingers to wipe it all around), then add approx a tablespoon of flour to dust the inside of it. Very unlikely that the cake would stick if you do this.

Stokegal your cakes are amazing! I'm so in awe!
Just a quick post re Christmas cakes for the less organised amongst us - like me! I'm making Delia's tradiotional Christmas cake which I do every year. Anyway went to waitrose tonight andthey are doing a bag of ingredients to make Delia's cake for £10. the only things not included are eggs, butter and an orange and lemon. I'd gone to write out a list of everything I needed and needed loads of things-most of which don't get used other than Christmas cake. I threw away glace cherries, sultanas, raisins, currents and mixed peel tonight all out of date from last year so for me the bag is great as it's the right amount of everything all weighed out ready!0 -
what icing did you use on the malteaser cake:xmastree: :rudolf: :xmastree:0

If anyone missed out on going to Cake International I've uploaded some of the photos I took of the cakes here: http://s204.photobucket.com/albums/bb268/Socialchemistry/Cake%20International/
I'm still busy playing about with new cupcake flavours & designs, hoping to come up with some Christmas ones soon in time for the Christmas farmers' markets. There's a photo of my latest flavour chocolate chip cookie dough on my Facebook site if anyone would like to have a look: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=119870514741552&set=a.119870511408219.15845.119866558075281Mortgage: [STRIKE]08/13 £28,896.49[/STRIKE] 01/18 £00 -
