The letters were supplied by the bride and most likely found on ebay :)

silver balls? did you mean the diamantes on the middle tier? they were also bought by the bride but i suppose you could get those from anywhere too. Yep there was a pearl brooch on the bow too :)

The bride bought all the stuff to make her own cake but decided to have someone else make it so there wasnt as much stress leading upto the day! i changed a few of the details from her original design to make it look more elegant...she wont see it till today so i hope she likes it! x

I've seen a few people talking about liquid fondant on here and just wondered where you guys are getting it from. I'd like to have a go at it for my next batch of cupcakes!

the Works have got giant cupcake moulds for £3.50 today. I'm not a big fan of them, but I thought my girls might like it, so I snapped one up

Liquid fondant is made from fondant icing sugar. It's not like fondant sugarpaste. You mix it up like normal icing sugar, bake your cupcakes with a gap at the top of the case, and fill the gap with the liquid fondant icing.

Let me know how you get on...as I'm a complete novice as well and was thinking about buying a couple of the nozzles that had been mentioned on here.

The easiest topping is buttercream. Just mix 2 parts icing sugar(sifted) to 1 part butter (softened). Add a drop of vanilla to taste. You can make as much or as little as you like.

I've just bought a 2D nozzle today, and a grass nozzle. Really looking forward to trying them out

Just noticed they have the same ones on Ebay as well...with free delivery, so would save me the delivery costs getting one from there rather than The Works ! Although still not as cheap as yours AnnieH. Never used silicone baking cases before...keep thinking they look like they would melt in the oven !
