Yes, that's the one. It seems to be full price on the website thugh. I've not tried it out yet, so don't know if I can recommend it until I try it

Thats the one I have :) Its brilliant! Just make sure you grease it first though, I didnt with my first one and the top part only half came out! (Nothing icing wouldnt hide though!!)

fabulous cakes nuttymummy as always! Really love them!

So, I've done my giant mickey mouse cupcake for my friends daughter. Its the first time I've used sugarpaste and put the cupcake together properly. I am quite pleased with the result, the icing could have been smoother but for a first attempt I'm happy, I know my friend will be ecstatic!

just wondering where everyone gets their cake boards from? i need a couple of rectangle ones but they seem so expensive compared to square.

    Thank you.
The Trex buttercream tastes fine. No one has ever mentioned it tastes any different. On the contrary, everyone says it's lovely. I prefer it as it has better definition for swirls that normal buttercream, and sets better.

Also... ANOTHER QUESTION :o How do you stack you cakes without them sinking in to one another? Is it dowels?? Do you use wooden or plastic??

    Thank you sooo much x

I was at a cake course today doing a tiered cake course. We used plastic dowels and were really easy to use.

Liquid fondant is made from fondant icing sugar. It's not like fondant sugarpaste. You mix it up like normal icing sugar, bake your cupcakes with a gap at the top of the case, and fill the gap with the liquid fondant icing.

Ooh thanks! So you just mix it with water then?

    4oz butter
    4oz sugar
    3oz self raising flour
    1oz corn flour
    2 eggs
    few drops vanilla essence
    splash of milk

the corn flour makes them lighter

i also make a dip in the middle of mine with a teaspoon that seems to keep them more level

Thanks for that! I was just about to post asking how to make my cupcakes lighter so will give this a try. I've been using the hummingbird bakery recipe which uses plain flour and baking powder and I thought they were a bit heavy but I've had lots of compliments that they were delicious!!

i used the wilton buttercream recipe for the first time for a party on friday and I have to say I thought it taste a bit odd but everyone who ate them said they were lovely! I did add some lemon juice and lemon curd to it though as they were lemon cupcakes.
