aww thanks very much
It took about 2 days from start to finish. the squeezy bottle was made from rice krispie treats which was my first time using them!! even though it was a simple shape it was still quite hard! id hate to tackle a more difficult shape with them LOL xx:dance:

Hi Nuttymummy what on earth is rice krispie treats? are they the squares and if they are how did you mould it into a tube shape? Should imagine they would be very sticky and hard to mould no wonder your not keen on working with them often
Did you do the black writing before placing the icing on the cake and what did you use to do the writing with dont know if my hand would be steady enough or be patient enough.:)

awesome....LOL yeah RKT is the american term...its exactly what rice krispie squares are here
You have to mush them up and then mold them into the shape you want. very tricky! LOL
no i iced the cake first and then hand painted the lettering on

I really admire lots of cakes made by some very clever people here! I started baking and cake decorating this February coz I wanted to make my baby’s 1st birthday cake and since then I fell in love with this hobby but TBH mine are crap compared to your cakes.
I am about to make a Guinness pint cake for a cousin’s birthday next week, I’m wondering if someone made one, or something similar before? If yes, could somebody give me any tips and suggestions on designing it, it would be very much appreciated. I know it’s a bit ambitious for a newbie like me but I’m keen on doing that for him. Thank you very much in advance. J
Kind Regards. xxx
I always look on google images for inspiration

I bet a rolo would be quite nice as well to use in the centre of the cupcakes and they would all be of equal quantity.0 -
