Finally worked out how to put photos on!
This is a bowl of roses I made on Sat. I'm hoping to get some local orders for Mother's Day / Easter. The photo doesn't show it very clearly though. It is five normal cupcakes and four mini ones.

I saw the basket weave and rose bowl on Youtube & fell in love lol. Just had to try it. I put too much icing in the bag for the basket weave and my hands were hot so the buttercream went very very soft where the butter stated to melt. Need to put less in next time and work faster!SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

They are brilliant well done! How do the roses stand up? Did you use the Wilton 2D tip? Thanks0 -
Help please! I want to decorate some cupcakes for my DD, but she doesn't like buttercream. Any ideas as to what else I could decorate them with. She's 16 so I wanted to do them 'grown up'.
Thank you!!!!0 -

OMG i love the cupcake bouquet! Well done! :T Can i ask what piping tip did you use to create the effect of the roses? Also was it the florist polystryrene you use to insert the sticks? Was it tooth picks you used to hold the cupcakes? If so, how did you find it holding the cupcakes? Was it strong enough? Sorry for all the questions! I am seriously thinking of making one for myself for my birthday... is that sad? lol! DS and I share the same birthday and he is having a MrTumble party on that day so i might aswell do something for moi!0 -
