Frontline flea enquiry?

Has anyone seen an allergic reaction in their cat from flea treament? My two boys don't have fleas (that I have noticed) though I do Frontline them every now and again. The previous time one of the buys had a bald patch appear where I had put the ointment a few weeks later. This time he has a really angry look welt... and all the hair has fallen out. This obviously could be a coiincidence but that seems very unlikely!Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0

yes - I have seen sores under their collar from flea treatments - so I put drops @ back of their heads & crown of head where nothing else will rub against the treated skin
before anyone starts the collars are loose (but not too loose so that they could come to any harm) nevertheless there is `baldness' where the collars sit so I prefer not to put flea killing solution on bald skin as I noticed sores developed there. Note: my two wear collars for their old fashioned magnetic catflap entrance device. It's real moneysaving as I just transfer their `keys' every time a new or change of collar is needed0
