It's quiet on here, wonder if it is because it is so slow after the revamp.

    I think you're right :(

Had to take DD into town for her CAB shift as her bus didn't show  Took the opportunitly to do a big groceries shop :)

I've spent the last hour sewing up the patchwork squares for the front of her quilt :j We didn't go into York at the weekend to get the border and backing fabric (faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar too hot for cities) so will plan now what I need and buy that during the half term :j

Going to have a coffee and then finish painting my window (then we'll be able to rehang the curtains :j )

Washing is on the line, bread out of the BM, and kitchen is tidy :j

Kezlou ow, you poor thing!:( I've heard of people being allergic to raspberry leaves. I had a run-in with a Rue plant many years ago, and still have scars to show for it.

OK, I'm in again; thank you, Flylady Central Command. Would've posted earlier, but I kept getting a "Forums down for maintenance" message.

I must get my head round not berating myself if I don't do it all this week; Sidney is a lovely house guest, but his walks are very tiring. He has to have 45 mins at 09:00, and another 30 mins at 13:00, as well as 2 evening walks (just short ones). Even using the mobility buggy, it's tiring, and of course I have to get up to "scoop the poop".:D

This morning was the first one I've done without Mr LW along. It was quite nerve-wracking, as I'm scared to go out of the house alone. But I kept telling myself that technically, I wasn't alone, as Sidney was there, and I got round the circuit OK. We went round via the Roman ruins, as that circuit seems to take the requisite amount of time. There's a slightly shorter circuit we shall take at 13:00 - both end up going past the poo-bin, so we can deposit the deposits, so to speak.:D

Also, I'm having to spot-hoover with the little hand-held cleaner a lot - Sidney has "feathers" on his feet, and he picks up lots of loose grass and other field detritus. Also, he's in the running for being the world's messiest eater! He is lovely though, and I'm very glad we have him to stay for a bit.

Anyways..... onwards and upwards. Think I might have a spot of lunch before anything else.

Toots very best of luck with the hossy visit; ((((HUGS)))) also to LadyL, Diva and anyone else who needs one.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Afternoon all, Rhys been in at the eye clinic today and they don't know if he has a squint or not. So he's to go to another eye appointment and get the drops put in, that will be fun.

Car now fully load with [STRIKE]crap [/STRIKE]stuff no long needed and i'm just waiting on Rhys to waken up, get fed and go.

Need to really get on with more painting this week, i really hate the thought of it but it needs to be done.

Toots hope all goes well at hospital.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
  • Really need to get on today. I haven't started yet:eek: Dog is walked at least so he won't get under my feet.

HHC at 12.15 if anyone wants to join me.

    Hello All :hello:

I have decided to try to join you again this week.

We dropped DS3 off at the airport for his 6am flight. I cried rather a lot as I watched him walk away through departures. I will miss him hugely.

We got to bed at midnight and up again at 3am so I am not feeling very human today. When we got home I did a tidy of the living room so I can already cross things off.

The pup was booked in to be spayed today too. When we dropped her off I reckon the vet must have thought me daft as I shed another tear. I need to get a grip. She (the vet) has just rung to say pup is okay and we can collect her later so I am going to try to have a sleep.

DS1 came home from uni on Friday so I can see if he and DS2 will do some of the heavier jobs today.:)

Toots I hope all goes well today
LW It is great that you can get out with the pooch.

    Hi All

Thanks to the fabulous four who keep the thread going.

Hope you are all well, not a hope of catching up.

Toots – Good luck today for your hospital appointment
mummyof5 – Nice relaxing vibes for you

Special love & hugs to Lady-L, Diva, Calsberggran & Danny

Good luck vibes to all those who have children sitting exams.

I am still taking meds, not sure how I feel yet, good days and bad days but still fighting against it, not gonna happen on its own.

DS was not better until Saturday and from Friday night, both DH & DD got the bug, my DD really made a mess in the bathrooms, LOOK AWAY NOW IF YOU HAVE A WEAK STOMACH whilst being sick in the downstairs loo, (standing up ???) it came out the other end so was all over the floor so I cleaned her up and sent her up to put the shower on, then went upstairs and she had been sick again and again it came out the other end too and was all over the walls, the tiles, the units and STINKING so the bathrooms have been scrubbed with scrubbing brushes and bleach more than once. Sorry if TMI but what a sh1tty (pardon the pun) weekend I have had, I am glad to be back at work for a rest! They are still off work/school and I spent most of the weekend on the couch at night and in the garden in the shade through the day so as not to catch it!

The washing basket was finally emptied yesterday, must have been on at least 4 times a day since last Monday!!!

    So today’s listy……oh – Forums have changed!!

    Afternoon all,

Toots i hope everything goes well at the hospital. x

Macpep  poor you and DD.

OH has the day off today as Dsd1 said to him he hadn't taken her once to get her dressing changed and he felt guilty. He goes in early everyday to miss the traffic so he's got plenty of flex time owing. I went with them to the Drs and then i took the clothes back and we had a wander around town. Ds2 and i have had lunch in the garden and for some strange reason he now wants to go in and watch a Dvd.

    So far today i have

    Made beds
    Sorted recycling
    School / nursery runs
    Put washing out
    Collected laundry
    Wm x 1
    Watered plants
    Put dry dishes away
    Washed up
    S & S Kitchen

I'm going to do a HHC now.
