Since my last post i've done a 2 mile walk, i'm so chuffed with myself and i have promised myself i'll keep it up.:j
Stopped off at garden centre and got a few things. Planted out some veg and painted a gate, it will need another coat tomorrow. Done dinner and sorted kids for tomorrow.

Now to get them all to bed, watch some tv and get an early night.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Could someone let Lady-L know my phone is broken and that I'm expecting delivery of a new one any day now I know she worries about me and I don't want her to.

    Done

but that is all I have done this week beyond empty and fill the DW :o

Off tomorrow so hopefully catch up then, and make time for a run.

valli - your pay includes INSET, proportional to the time you work, regardless of when it takes place. I have to do two and a half days, whether or not it's on days I normally work, and now I've done my 2 1/2, I'm not going to the twilight on Wednesday - it's my birthday and I have far better things to do than listen to someone wittering on for three hours on unlocking potential. If I've misunderstood - sorry!
I know my pay includes INSET; so I should do 3 BUT I was told that those three INSET days should take place on my contracted working days so I cannot be required to attend INSET days which take place on my non-work days (ie Thursday and Friday) without being paid extra (or being given time off in leiu) by my union. Boss seems to set most INSETS on Thurs/Fridays *shrug* and I am 'invited to attend' if I wish - in other words come in but we won't pay you. We have a P/T HLTA who is also a P/T HLTA at another school and therefore unable to attend INSET here on her non-contract days.

Left work at 6:30 having got in yesterday to a brief message requesting a display be changed...so much for the taking of routine jobs off us. Any way I have done it and I HAVE MEASURED IT OUT AND THE TOP LINE IS 10CM DOWN FROM THE EDGE OF THE BOARD it had better be okay or I shall throw a strop.

Did 2 hours in the front garden, I hate going out there as I have never really done anything in it since we moved in (5 years ago :o) but I have made quite a dent in it.

Does anyone know what to do with Pampas grass? I really like it but there are some old looking bits and I don't know how to deal with it.
