As said arrows are correct, Subaru also have them.
Fuel hose one is not correct (old hoax).
Actually find them useful, but then have 3 cars to remember lol0 -
What a very slow news day - Fords have had an arrow by the fuel gauge for at least 15 years.
i can't beleive this is actually classed as news?
i know some stories can be out of date and held back for a few days or weeks or even months but for at least 10 years that i know of its been on cars,as you say ford have had this on the fuel gauge for over a decade....work permit granted!0 -
what gets me is why do you need something on your dash to tell you which side of the car the fuel cap is, its not as if it swaps sides of the car at random, if it is on the right today, it will be on the right tomorrow;)Take every day as it comes!!0

Well, my 1997 Mk.2 Mondeo has an arrow pointing to the offside, where the fuel filler is, and the petrol pump logo's nozzle is on the right.
I have to confess to being most embarrassed when my usual ASDA installed some flash new pumps. I didn't think the hose went across to the far side of my car, replaced it and moved my car. I was informed that I hadn't pulled it out enough! D'Oh!The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -

Some of us drive hire, pool and company cars at random. With so many makes and models you don't always check which side the filler is on. If the vehicle is a high sided vehicle then it may not be possible to fuel with a stretched hose. The man without a signature.0 -
