I finally got my hubby to phone today, as sky is in his name and the cancellations dept. wouldn't talk to me. He really HATES doing anything like this!

Anyway, he was glad he did - we got the sky sports package that we have been paying £36 a month for - fot £5 a month for the next 4 months!!!!!!!

He was that chuffed that he phoned telewest as well, and got our broadband reduced from £25 a month to £10.

Total of £46 a month savings!!!!!!!!

Last night i spoke to cancellations and they offered me Sky+ with free installation and a grade A refurb 20 hour box for free to stay with them. I am on Sky World so no extra monthly charge. Could i have got a better deal???

we were on that package (21) my hubby just phoned up to be put through to cancellations so yes give it ago

Very tempted to do this as hubby pays £42 subscription a month. What happens if they say yes, we will proceed with your cancellation? Has it ever happened to anybody? Hubby cannot do without hs sky sports. Thanks

I got my partner to phone yesterday. we had 4 mixes and sky plus,they offered us a 25% discount for 12months bringing it down to £15.75 a month. also started going on about there free broadband has anybody got it??

When you cancel you are required to give them 30 days notice, it does not come into immediate effect. So if they call your bluff and do cancel you, you can always ring up on day 29 and say that you have changed your mind and will stay connected. A friend did this and sky rang him after 2 weeks and offered them a deal to stay. dont worry, they want you more than you want them.
