Love the boots. Wouldnt take much notice of OH half; learnt over the years that they really dont know anything and if they dont like its actualy a good thing (most of the time my OH doesn't like something because he thinks it will attract other men (his words not mine :o); paranoid I tell ya honestly!!!!! lol)

Anyway hes gonig to benefit at the end of the day because when we are happy and confident we are much more fun :rotfl:. Also you now have some nice things to go away with x

Oh Jody, that was a funny story, you really did spree! The boots are lovely and sometimes I think you just have to do it. I dread shopping but after your success today might give it a go next weekend as I need lots too. My brother is really touchy about my sister in law wearing certain things, my husband falls into the other category and doesn't really notice and would think everything looked the same! I think some men really can't tell when something is different! Enjoy your lovely new things.

I think my OH just has absolutely NO idea of fashion...well womens fashion anyway! Men just seem to wear jeans and t shirts of various types! The calf boots will be great for Ireland, I will just wear them this week to make sure they dont rub :)

:rotfl:, I suppose at least he is honest and I'm not the sort of person who wont wear something because he doesn't like it!

I think it's the most I have ever spent in one go, not even when I had a credit card did I ever get that much! At least it is pretty much all sorted now, OH normally doesn't mind what I wear and often encourages me to wear low cut tops :o.

He is currently playing some online xbox game with a college mate so I'm pretty much being ignored! Men eh, can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em ;)

OH managed to leave the freezer open last night :(, almost everything has defrosted and the freezer had loads of stuff in it! We just had to eat some random chicken pops and honeyed parsnips . I know it as an accident but it's frustrating.

Got 30p on scratchies today, going to change some fish tank water this afternoon and try and brush up on some college stuff. I think it's going to take us about an hour to get to the wedding reception so we will probably leave about half six.

Hope everyone gets a nice restful day x

Cheers Woo, I feel all 'antzy', like I don't know what to do with myself :rotfl:. There are a million and one things I COULD do, but they aren't things I WANT to do! I'm a bit of a weird one as I love planning things and having something to look forward to....saying that this time next week I will be in Ireland .

I might paint my nails after doing the fish ready for tonight. Suppose I better think about what I need to pack next weekend as well. I just can't get myself focussed on one particular task :o

I know that feeling, Sundays always get me like that for some reason.

Packing for Ireland will give you something to focus on and get excited about.

Well I managed to sort out the fishies and do a few bits of ironing! About to go and have a shower and work out what to wear tonight. Not sure if I will have time to paint my nails now, ho hum, doubt anyone will notice.

Not even sure if we will know anyone at the reception apart from the bride and groom! I don't know if they invited anyone else in our circle and no one else has mentioned it. Maybe we will just park up by the buffet :rotfl:
