YUK weather down my neck of the woods - peeing down when I left (ballet pumps were apparently a bad idea this am), the train was wet and cold, and the tube hot and steamy.

Office snug and warm though, but I dont feel well today - woke up with almight hangover (which wasnt really a hangover as I'd only had two glasses of wine) and feel so tired. Had 7.30am meeting and annoying have a 7.30pm conference, so all told will be out of the house from 5am til probably almost midnight today... bit grumpy - sorry!

As to the kids thing, I think it is impossibly rude for people assuming that as a woman you must be a breeding factory. For me personally, I would have had far more than two had my life worked out differently - I had daighter at 18, son and 21 and when husband refused to have more I was gutted and felt that I had all these redundant parts which would never be used again! But although BF desperately wanted more children when we met I felt the kids boat had sailed by then (I didnt want 20 year age gap between my kids!) and it almost split us from time to time. But I have two friends that haven't had children through choice, and although one sometimes wonders what her life would be like with children she doesnt regret her decision. Both ladies lead the life of riley jetting off here there and everywhere without the financial and time restraints of a little one...

Each to their own, and all that. I can see pros and cons to both...
  • Chucking it down up here too, but then in Scotland most days it does! :p

Speaking of rain I won £10 on the walkers rainy day thing on Monday!

I wish I got a payrise, or a bonus, I'm not greedy, just one of those would be nice :(

It's pouring down and blowing a gale, was lovely walking the dog this morning NOT!

I knew from day one I didn't want kids and my sister is the same, my mum has actually said she only had kids because that's what you did then, you got married and had kids (not that she doesn't love us obviously, just that times are different now).

  • I was bad this morning, got up late and didn't take the dog out :o Though she will be out for a couple of hours this evening as we have puppy classes and to be fair she isn't that keen on going out in the rain! Suits me fine! :p

Oh I've always wanted kids, just always dreamed of a wedding and children. Not sure why! :p All my friends are having kids just now, my friends baby is only 5 weeks, she's lovely :D

    You started yet Becs?

Me? Of course not! That's what Xmas Eve is for! :rotfl:

Still finding it weird that I will be here for Xmas after two years away, this will be the first Xmas day I have actually spent with OH :o

The first year I was away and although he came to visit me the second year I was away to get a cheap flight he had to fly on Xmas day and didn't actually arrrive in Zim till Boxing Day.

Felt a little bit guilty he was on a flight on Xmas Day that was delayed for hours cause of the snow while I spent Xmas morning out horse riding, lunch by the pool and the afternoon getting drunk on a boat followed by more beers round the fire :o

He does, bless him :) He annoys the hell out of me at times but I love him lots too :)

It was really good last year, other than I did burn my bum cheeks by the pool that day!

I think Boxing Day will be a really good time to go, normally it's always a bit of a slow day after the whole Xmas Day thing so it will be nice to be setting off to do something. x

Actually, I think you'll find that Boxing Day is very exciting, and definitely better than Christmas ;) well I think so anyway, cos it's my birthday! I still feel a bit guilty about my poor mum, in labour from Christmas Eve
