I certainly agree that having a meal cooked is very romantic.
Perhaps run a bath for her ready for when she gets in from work, put candles in the bathroom and lay out towels ready for her. Put a glass of champage out ready for her and while she's pampering herself, busy yourself in the kitchen. Prepare her a yummy meal, either like lillibet says, picnic style or a proper meal M&S style.
If someone did this for me (fat chance  ) they would win MANY brownie points.... even more than if there was a fancy restaurant involved.
OR.... book yourselves into a spa for a bit of pampering. Last year for my o/hs birthday I booked us into a local spa where we bubbled in a jaccuzzi then both had back and neck massages. It was a brill couple of hours and NOT the sort of thing that he would EVER have done if I hadn't booked it. Cost £40 for both of us but we 'floated' out when it'd finished.
Hey you girls are great. I never imagined thay tidying up would please my other half so much. Just a bit of background - my wife is turkish and at the moment lives in turkey as she is doing property development there. She comes from a very poor background where they had plastic for windows but her father owns lots of land by the sea which is now very valuable. She comes to UK when she can but last time she came she said the flat was dirty. I couldn't believe it as I spent at least a couple of hours cleaning. She said before she ever came again she wanted me to send her pictures!
What is that all about?
You have to understand that she has a VERY mediterranean temperment.
So, my question is how do you make a woman happy?0 -
