Tesco Online Shop Rip off... well not really, what a palaver

Did u call them? In my experience, if u shop with any sort of regularity, they will give u refunds, discounts etc, no questions asked, so long as it is not a too often.
If still not happy, then make your point by ordering again and then refusing to sign the delivery machine until you have ticked off every price. Make sure you have the name of the customer service rep who told you that you should be checking everything, and make sure you tell the driver why you are checking and who told you to. Prob won't do much, but I would find this quite entertaining.0 -
If it was ten p then fine but this product doubled in price, you need to get on the blower and demand a refund0

Before i moved i used to order regularly with tesco's online...i think most of the time things went smoothly and if they didn't with damaged products i'd call and get a full refund.
I do remember some instances when i got charged full price for offer items but always assumed it was because the offer dates had ended by the date of delivery....usually the increase would be by £1.00 at most and the energy it would take to return a product to the store wouldn't be worth it in my case so never bothered.
And i totally agree about the delivery drivers, they are usually very nice yes, but they wait for no one and just zoom off! so afew seconds later your there at your front door staring at your receipt and thinking oh crap i'd have liked to return this particularly product but by then he's long gone.0 -
When I was a Tesco delivery driver I was told not to wait, if someone wants to check it item by item they do it after the delivery. Strange how you were told opposite.0

same rule applies for sainsburys drivers, they 6mins to deliver, then the customer should ring our call centre if they have any issues0
