Hi
I am trying to do slimming world and I know some of the Easiyo yoghurts work out syn free. I have a conventional yoghurt maker - seven little pots. My OH got me a sachet of the EYo yog to try but I want to just mix it up and try it out in my yog maker rather than get the flask.
My question is, just how much liquid do you mix to the packet as it does not seem to state the amount. Anyone be able to pour some into their flask and tell me how many mls/litre etc. it needs.
Many thanks.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

The flask measures 1 litre, so it should be easy enough to make up.
Good luck0 -
I now have two Easiyo yoggers both off Freecycle. I requested them and they came a few months apart. Ask and ye shall receive. The first one came minus a flask which I then purchased from Julian Graves. The second came with two flasks, so I can make lots of yogurt. I do love the sachets but suspect they are a lot dearer than buying ready made.
My first attempt at making my own in the Easiyo resulted in Milk!!!! I have two muslin curtains which I have been keeping especially for doing all this straining.
Mixing in condensed milk sounds like my idea of heaven and can only imagine how divine the yogurt comes out - sadly my waistline is bulging too much for me to even attempt this.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

How long did it take you to get an EasiYo from Freecycle? I really want one but they seem quite expensive, even on EBay (as you have to add postage). Also, do you think it's worth it, or is the flask method as good? I quite fancy trying the EasiYo flavoured sachets but I don't know if they would work in a normal flask.April Grocery Challenge: £80/£64.39

I got my Easiyos very quickly. I advertised as wanted one day and the following day there was someone wanting the space in their cupboard. I am a terrible person for gadgets and have two other yogurt makers, the kind with little glass jars. The EY sachets worked perfectly well in them also.
I am pretty certain they would work in a flask also. I saw a video on video jug where they were making yogurt just in a glass bowl with towel over the top and putting somewhere warm.
They cost £14.99 in Julian Graves if you have one. I just thought I would try my luck and ask for another before I went out and bought another one. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Have a go.
I do think the sachets are a bit expensive but I got mine mail order EasiYo Bakers & Larners of Holt, UK - I spent about £40 but they have lasted ages. I would never get the vanilla again though as its not nice atall. I like the greek one best of course as that's the most fattening and creamy.
Just adding that it may be worth asking for the Easiyo on a fairly regular basis as the messages change so frequently. I do give away a lot of stuff too..Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Thanks Larmy. I only advertised today so will see what comes up, if all else fails I'll try the flask method (I tried making yogurt using my slow cooker yesterday which sort of worked but the final result was really mild and didn't taste that much like yogurt!). I do have a Julian Graves but I'm in serious money saving mode at the moment and refuse to buy one new!April Grocery Challenge: £80/£64.39
