Ebay has gone to the dogs!!!!!!!

I am not a major seller on ebay but have seen how frustrating it must be for people trying to make a living this way. I am trying to rid the house of items never used and also had a few tops that were BNWT to get rid of so thought ebay would be the place to go.

What can i say!!!!

It is shocking that buyers still think they can just change their mind!!!

Latest email is this one

hi iam really sorry but my daughter as bid on this item... but she as changed her mind.
regards karen

Would you do the mutual agree to withdraw route or do you think that is a cop out and that they should get a strike against them? I am swinging on getting them a strike because that is three times this has happened to me and i have only sold a handful of items and i think it will only get worse unless sellers make a stand.
What would you all do?

Personally I would strike. What sort of an excuse is *that* from the Buyer??

I have had several recently and have filed NPDs, I haven't left negs because I'd probably get one back. So unless they're willing to pay your fees file an NPD.

I had one the other day saying something along the lines of ' Sorry my son bidded on your item and no longer wants it...blah blah blah blah' - I just done a mutual agreement as I was in a good mood.

There are too many people doing this, wrecking auctions and scamming, eBays got to sort it out!

  • I had one recently who changed there mind and he wanted to do the mutual, but I went to NPB. This really wonder the guy up, he replied to the NPB with a nasty comment and left me a neg. All I want to say is be very careful, I think if they ask for a mutual you should do it or risk a nasty exchange.

  • Sounds like a right cop-out to me. I always see the good side in people but that seems to be taking the mick! I'd love to see her do that at a real-life auction..."sorry but I've changed my mind"!

Only problem is that you do risk Neg feedback which from your side of things seems unjustified...but they deserve a strike! I agree with lazymoezy, Ebay need to sort it, but will they?

    Good luck!

Not bothered about what they think of me and getting one neg doesnt bother me THAT much.(i say that now but who knows next week i may be crying in my cornflakes as my unblemished record leaves me) But the worry is that they will try to wreck your other auctions. Going mutual just seems like a cop out to me. I can see why people do it but she couldnt even be er-sed making up a good excuse.

At least the peson who wanted to drop out last week blamed their paypal account so when i offered them other methods of payment they coughed up as their account got "fixed":T

    Talking on NPB's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just sold an Ipod Video just over £100, 2mins later the 0 feedback winner says his paypal account cannot be used to pay for the ipod because of some fraud or something and his waiting for his money to come back!!! ARGHHH!!!

I repied saying he can pay via credit card or bank, he doesnt have to have money in the account he can use either of the above. He looks like a scammer, I checked his bidding pattern and his won 4 other Ipod in the last 30days!!!

eBay is really P**ING me off!

AARGHHHHH!!!!! Im already angry and this has just made my day even worse!!!!

I've just had someone buy a CD player off of me for £65 and then 3 days later sends an email telling me they have changed their mind. I said that was OK and relisted the item and now they have given me a neutral feedback. What did I do to deserve that? I'm going to file a NPB alert when the 7 days is up and then neg them.

I think ebay is going to implode on itself very soon.

good thing is black saturn you can leave neg for them of you havent left feedback yet, as for non payment always get a strike with me got some negs for it and left some negs for it plain and simple. also se your auction so that peopel with X amount of non pauyment strikes cant bid on your auctions ... paypal only helps aswell.
