no glad hasn't ren, glad wasn't aware the daily mag dupes were being expired by us members reading the post

no..i meant she said carry on as before...business as usual.

So to make everything clear I guess it's do everything that we all used to do say 3 weeks ago.

so my list for myself & hopefully helping others in following mse rules is like this..


Expired button only to be used for comps that have expired the expiry date.
exception for the rule for
Tab monthly/Puzzler.com/Magazine dailies as these have specified threads.
& to post on the magazine dupe with the magazine threads links to the relevant magazine threads & then press expire.

Dupes for any other comps to be sent to a Board Guide with a merge request &
posted on to say it's a dupe & sent to such & such BG.

Wrong titled/not correct format titled comps,
post on the thread asking the op politely to amend their title with the correct format stated in the comping guide & hope the op will do it.


Self Promotion comps to be reported by pressing the 'report' button & sent to the team explaining the op is self advertising/self promoting thier own/a friends site.

Thanks Glad :A it just seems easiest way to deal with these as merges not required IMHO and it just clears them out of the way :T so back to business as usual :beer:
