[quote=[Deleted User];discussion/2480955] He knows not to play it in school but hes likes sitting there quietly and playing while he waits for one of us to pick him up after work.

I suppose suggesting one of you gives up work is not the answer you are looking for is it?It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0 -

Who looks after his PSP when he's in school?
It stays in his school bag...0 -
My mum always had a rule with us, if we didn't want to share something then we didn't bring it out when others are around. I understood the logic of this at a very young age, and can't believe you, as an adult are having difficulty comprehending this. If you had guests would you get biscuits out and not offer your guests? Would you sit and watch a new DVD or play your computer while they were there?
You are paying for your child to be looked after, the club should be providing activities to entertain your child. If they are not doing this then you should take it up with them, but if it is simply that your child would rather sit in a corner playing his computer then I would think the problem is your's not the clubs. All children are different and some are tired after a long day of school so After school clubs should provide some quiet space so children can read, do homework or quietly chat with a friend if they are not the joining in sort, they should not have to police your son't game and I can guarantee that even if they weren't suggesting he should be sharing then he would be drawing a crowd of kids all asking to have a go, which is enough to police in itself. I'm surprised he was allowed to bring it for so long.
Leave it at home or send him to a different care setting, they seem to be your choices!0 -

With all due respect OP you sound mightily p!ssed off that everyone isn't agreeing with you.
The only gripe I would agree with you is that the staff should have raised the issue with you direct - that way they can discuss their reasons for their actions and you wouldn't be getting all snippy on an internet forum
Take for example my own son, him and one of the children I mind end up squabbling over my sons bike, one wants it, the other won't share and TBH it's a PITA to keep sorting the issue out. As such said bike is removed and not available to play. Your son is not the only child in attendance to wrap around care and if his PSP is having a detrimental effect on the kids and making them argue and bicker then I think they've made the right decision.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
