I know some go by the rule of "if it doesn't say you can't" so I'd say take them. If it was something like a bank job or a travel agent where it could take 30 mins of your attention to do the job then I'd say don't take a baby. However for example if the baby is asleep in a pram like they may well be then they're unlikely to cause any distraction.

I know, I had thought this, and wouldn't dream of bringing him to a bank one, or one where there is a meaningful conversation to be had... but when you just have to ask 'where is....' etc, then I cant see that would be a problem????

    Hi all,

I'm very sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but struggling to find it at the moment.
I have a job with GFK tomorrow for a local homewares store. However, the brief does not state if this job is to be done alone or not as some do.
If it doesn't state it, does it mean its ok if I had my baby with me, or even someone else as if I was on a normal shopping trip? I have emailed them to ask this afternoon but not had any reply.

    Thanks in advance....:)

I've done this one three times with my little man and sometimes my husband. I don't think they mind, as I have even bought items within the cafe for all of us and submitted the receipt. If it doesn't say you can't then I think it's okay. For other jobs where I need to be more focused, then I make sure he's asleep in his buggy, sometimes just the drive there sends him to sleep!

 Am so annoyed with myself...did a Pizza job last nite and realised it was outside of the time given by 50 minutes! All the other dates available were between 5 and 9 but not the bloomin date I chose! Have emailed and explained. No dates to reschedule so fingers crossed they might think any report is better than no report.

I've got a job with ESA to be completed by Sun. It's a large home/clothing store. In my inbox the details say women and childrens query, then when I look at the briefing notes it says men's and children's. To top it all it says I must try on a men's jacket and use the men's changing rooms! I think I would look pretty stupid as I'm a woman. I've emailed them to query it, but does anyone know if they are there over the weekend. Tried ringing earlier, but maybe it was too early.

:j:j:j:j I can finally see RE jobs! Albeit, none in my immediate area that I would do, but at least its a start! :j:j:j

However, ABAi, I've still not seen any jobs at all, are they normally particularly quiet for jobs, or certain times of the month etc? Getting nothing in my are, NOR in any other are for any of my clients?:(

Got a nice envelope for Abai this morning and there was a letter in with the payment saying that they are moving to BACS Payments and that you have to register your details for this at this link.

    ABAi payments

Oh and at long last they seem to be sending out more than one payment in each envelope, I did 3 garages and got all three in the one envelope...

They have been paying some projects by BACS for a while now. I'm sort of pleased they are now doing it for everything, but will also miss my nice white envelopes coming through the door! I'm also always amazed by the quality of the paper they use for the remittance advices!
