Just went and done a batch of Gap stamp jobs, one of the locations was closed - didnt even have a note in the door to say why. Was a branch located within a convenience store, so maybe not the clients fault but that of the store owners. Have contacted Gap, but I'm guessing they will ask me to re-visit on another day for free? Have said I am happy to revisit for a further fee, anyone know how Gap handle closed locations?

still chasing payment for a petrol job they sent me to when the site had closed 6 months earlier.!!!!!!.

Anyone doing the travel shops for ESA suspect they have been sussed? I did one in the last wave and just done one at lunchtime. Everything was 'normal' until she put my surname into the computer and then she asked if my initial was J which I said it was. Then she went a bit 'weird' - just wondering whther a note has been made on their system.

yup,i got superb service as the day wore on.if i am reading the reports right we have to use our own details.

Mine are still pending also (and past the dates I said I would visit). I am assuming that the fieldwork dates must be due to change (unless anyone knows different and has had these allocated). Bare has done this in the past: put the jobs on the board with a due date, then postponed the fieldwork without amending the dates on the job board. I complained about it when they allocated such a job to me (it was somewhere that I had in my schedule for one particular date only). Bare did apologise and cancelled it (only to give it back to me later with a huge fee that made it worthe me going just for that job).

Hi there, just to let you all know, I have spoken to Bare on this matter for the technology jobs if thats what you are referring to. They said that the client has asked for them to hold fire on those jobs, which is why they have not been 'allocated' yet. They are hoping to get the go ahead soon, and then they will amend the dates. Hi all,

I'm very sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but struggling to find it at the moment.
I have a job with GFK tomorrow for a local homewares store. However, the brief does not state if this job is to be done alone or not as some do.
If it doesn't state it, does it mean its ok if I had my baby with me, or even someone else as if I was on a normal shopping trip? I have emailed them to ask this afternoon but not had any reply.

    Thanks in advance....:)

I know some go by the rule of "if it doesn't say you can't" so I'd say take them. If it was something like a bank job or a travel agent where it could take 30 mins of your attention to do the job then I'd say don't take a baby. However for example if the baby is asleep in a pram like they may well be then they're unlikely to cause any distraction.

I've done these with AN Other before and never had a problem, but there were no negatives, don't know what would have happened if there had been.
Mind you they are good at stating for other jobs that you must take a child or other adult so I suppose if it doesn't say you can't then it should be ok.
    Don't quote me though :D
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

I have only done one but I do think they guessed, it was the manageress who started to serve me and when I started the scenario there was an obvious reaction to me and she then took me to one of her colleagues who could "help me better" but then stood and told me all about the "loyalty card" and what the shop offered, infact I think she managed to cover almost all of the questionnaire within a couple of minutes.

On another note am I the only one who finds it annoying with the clients do not remove your details from their database after the shop and also when the MS company do not tell you the systems are linked between shops. I have used a total variety of name and addresses for the GAP travel agent (which did make it fun when they called me "Kirsty" and I ignored them and wondered who they were speaking to :rotfl:)
