I've always been paid for my jobs and certainly don't always give a glowing report! I also had one where I was given a large meal when I had clearly replied no, just a regular meal. I didn't actually realise until I went to scan my receipt... then thinking back realised my drink did seem bigger than usual!! I explained in the comments box and it was still paid.
I have also been paid for every gyp job so far ....... and I always tell it as it is.
Incidentally, the large size substitution has happened to me. I raised it with gyp, and they told me that you can order medium or large and it doesn't matter. I pointed out that the brief doesn't say this, but the gyp guy then pointed out that the brief doesn't specify a meal size!!:p
Good news for some, I suppose!0 -

Ask someone for a particular assignment number that they can see and you can't - then ring RE up and give them the number and ask why you can't see it. Try and get a pub assignment number as those jobs seem to be available from when you first start.
Thanks JC, can anyone in Kent area help with this, if so can you PM me again and give me an assignment number that can be checked please?
Thanks in advance...

Can I also ask what everyone uses to plan their routes?
Hiya, yes, I am on my probationary period. RE say that a lot of jobs ask for 'active' shoppers only, which is understandable. However, she did tell me that there should be jobs available still....:(0 -
Just had a bookies floor show. Still not sure how I kept a straight face.
Free bet, cup of coffee, used my name lots etc. This is the drawback shopping locations that never have non-locals visiting!!0 -
Yes scaredy cat, I've got every box ticked, and 5 different areas on there, all with a 50 mile radius, and still 0!
I have spoken to a couple of other people in my area who are seeing jobs no problem, but i'm not seeing anything
Hang in there Sally - best thing is to try getting an ID and ringing them - they are usually very lovely to speak withfingers crossed for you!

Just been reading about the 'no ice' visit. I got pulled up about a breakfast visit where I said no to the sauce. It's part of the meal, I was supposed to take it. That actually made the visit quicker but I still got my wrist slapped and told not to do it again. Got paid ok though.
And a quick alert. Postal jobs on Gfk for a small fee. Will post a proper alert also.0 -

i dont do the breakfasts for that reason- i hate sauce in my bacon roll and figured i couldnt say no as they sometimes have them made up so you could get a ready prepared one. yukky

Only get back what you have spent plus the fee - if there is one
Thanks. So in other words, it's worth spending the whole amount if you can find something you'd be buying anyway, rather than spending as little as possible so as to increase the profit!I'm broke, not poor. Poor sounds permanent, broke can be fixed. (Thoroughly Modern Millie)
