Och yes I know that but they are usually fairly local so there's no travelling. I hate filling in that silly accordion style thing too but apart from all that they are pretty good to work for :rotfl::rotfl:

Myself and lots of people before me have put a lot of time and effort into this thread and then stupid people put it in jeopardy by naming clients and discussing fees. If you think me telling them off for that is being abusive you should see me when I really get going! :eek::eek::eek:

You need Business Class 1 cover. It doesn't cost a lot extra, and some companies cover you for free. It's worth having for peace of mind in case something happens, and to save you having to tell lies if you did have an accident. It's well known that insurance companies will go through everything with a fine tooth comb to get out of paying up.

I read that as jen reported the post with the shop names in not yours

LOL I meant i reported HIS post as abuse so that the name of clients wouldn't be mentioned on the thread (notice how its gone?)

My day started well & I got a few shops done. Ended up with a stamp shop on the way back in a village I'm unfamiliar with. Got parked, went to the stamp shop only to find it closed with a note written on the door. Came back home, wrote my reports & let GAP know. Got an email back (quite impressed it was the same day!) to say send the photos by replying to the email. Email bounced so I've contacted GAP again. I'll probably get an email saying I should have submitted my results before I get another response.

On another note, does anyone know who I contact at REACT to let them know of my change of bank details? I changed it on my profile but it says there that it isn't linked to their system so you need to inform them but it doesn't say how/who to inform.

Hee! Finally heard back from Gap about the burger drive-through in a pedestrianised high street:

"Unfortunately, we no longer require you to complete this evaluation. Please do not proceed with this assignment as it has been cancelled from your account. "

So, no 'thank you for letting us know', no 'sorry, we messed up' - nothing. I think they ought to pay me for helping them out there!

A few years ago maybe 4-5 I used to do the food shops for them. Never had any problems but I abandoned it. Still had the old password so used that to log in to the account which had been inactive for a very long time and they emailed me to say the account was cancelled.

The same thing happened to me. I emailed them and asked them if they could re-activate my a/c as I enjoyed doing the fast food jobs(!) Some time later (I don't remember exactly) they phoned me one day and were lovely and re-activated my account for me. Not big fees I know but it is free food when I am out doing other jobs.
