Wow! I've just had RE actually using common sense! My photo of a store didn't come out but I didn't realise until I'd completed the whole blooming report, so I emailed them to detail right and left etc. and prove I was at the right store, and got a swift reply saying it was fine, just upload the receipt image twice (as it wouldn't let me proceed without uploading *something*) and they'd see if they had a stock image they could use!

Isn't it nice when they're actually reasonable about something? :-)

I know they are not popular on this thread but I have always found RE to be helpful and very reasonable

Hi can I ask a quick question regarding car insurance whilst MSing? What do you tell them in terms of using the car for work as it's not one static place of work? Will you have to pay more for this?

It's narked me a bit as MS plus other field marketing work is my sole income and to me it is a proper job!

Just wondering how others see their work? Do you see it as a "proper" job?

Yes it's a proper job especially when you are doing it full time. I've taken it up again recently as a part-time extra income job.

Can anyone advise on the Gap site? I'm banned/sacked but I haven't done anything.

A few years ago maybe 4-5 I used to do the food shops for them. Never had any problems but I abandoned it. Still had the old password so used that to log in to the account which had been inactive for a very long time and they emailed me to say the account was cancelled.

Then I re-registered using a different email but that account got cancelled within 2 days. How do they know it's me? Do they log IP addresses or something? The petrol shops would be perfect for me....

I might be wrong about this but aren't you just using the car to go shopping? I know the shopping is your work but MS companies don't pay for milage or parking so technically you don't need to use a car.

Same problem here no matter what link/bookmark I use so I hope it's a bigger issue than just us :)

I just based my car insurance on my full time job and using it for domestic and social use.

I came back last Tuesday from a weeks holiday and I can't find many jobs. I managed to pick up a few email jobs and a mortgage company but that is all. Did I miss them all while I was away?
