Hi, yes, I had this on Friday, and I emailed them Friday morning. I got the emails from the proof reading team later that night! Most ridiculous questions in the world.... 'How did it make me feel that I wasn't greeted as walked into the store' etc, that most certainly wasn't asked on the original report form!
Then 3 other questions from one other report, asking the same along with 'What was the MOS name, when I specifically stated that she wasn't wearing a name badge so was unable to get a name! grrr!!
What are RE doing at the moment!!!
I waited 4 days for my queries to show up. and had the same "How did it make me feel that I wasn't greeted as walked into the store' etc"
Personally, didn't give a s**t was my answer but in a more polite way.I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -
For those that have asked me for the tax info Tuesday or monday ill be around a scanner and do it all then0

Has anyone had any -1 and -2 showing on their RE accounts recently saying QUERY RAISED, only for no queries to be ever raised? I am confused.
I was told in the past that this can happen when a proofreader flags up something in a report for the attention of the account manager. This doesn't necessarily mean that a query has been or is to be raised with the shopper. The advice I was given was "don't worry." Great help that is when a shopper is trying to build or maintain rep, and wants to be sure that they have not missed answering a query!
It just seems to be another of the wonders of RE.0 -
Just finished off my gfk email. Definitely not worth the fee! Took me ages to understand the briefing notes, take the test, send the email, reply to the email, forward the email on and then fill in the questionnaire. Well over an hours work for pittance. At least I didn't have to go anywhere to do it!0

JUst a quick question on the tax side of MS
I work part time and earn £17000, just wondering how and what amount of tax I will have to pay for MS. Do I do this monthly or at the end of a financial year?
Im getting confused and have read the previous posts about it over and over!!

You will already be paying tax on your part time job. That means any extra income from MSing will be subject to tax. You will need to fill out a tax return at the end of the financial year. Make sure you keep records of what it costs you to conduct each assignment (printing, mileage, required spend etc) as you are only taxed on the profit.0 -
Alright who's pinched all the jobs
I've only got one on my calendar for this week.
Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0 -

Thankyou for your reply. Do I still need to complete an application for exception from liability for Class 2 Contributions??
Is the end of the financial year, next April 2011?
If Im making around £50 per month MS and between now and next April I make £550, roughly how much tax does that work out at?

I agree with that! For the first one I did, anyway. After I'd done one, it was a doddle with the others. I would now put these jobs in the category of "money for old rope".:rotfl:
I have set up an email address especially for these. When I have sent the enquiry, I rename the email as required by GfK and move it into a job-dedicated folder. When responses arrive, I do the same. I flag the folders with the 10-day due date. When the 10 days are up ..... simples!!
Doing it this way, you can even write the emails well in advance of the the job day (and save them in the dedicated folder ready to send).
The web enquiry ones take longer because you need to copy stuff into word then attach the file to send it back to GfK. I tend to pick the straightforward email ones. As has been disucssed earlier in the thread, I'm not 100% certain that I have kept within the GfK limits for number of jobs on this project!:D0
