I had a mystery shop today at a store.
I had the assignement notes in mind, it was just an inquiry.
Basically, the sales assistant was just really blunt and not at all helpful and to complete my task it would have just been awkward conversation.
Do you think I'll still receive my fee for that?0 -

Did you engage in any conversation?0 -

I depends how you handled it. If that happens I usually make two or three attempts at direct questions to get the information I need so they can see I have tried to do the job. Here I go again on my own....0 -

I had one like that this week! Must be something in the water.....all you can do is report honestly what happened and how that made you feel as a customer. Thats what companies pay for the report to see just HOW their staff come across to their customers. As long as its objective then I would have thought you will get your fee.Free/impartial debt advice: Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) | National Debtline | Find your local CAB0 -

I had one of these for ESA earlier this week, they rang today to say that they can't pay me or the reimbursement as I didn't have the scenario conversation, I tried! So I'm out of pocket for parking, travel and the purchase because the SA couldn't be ***** to talk to me. Surely this is the kind of feedback that the stores need, but no, the job is being re-shopped and I am out of pocketI spent twenty minutes browsing in the hope that maybe the SA would get the hint that I really did need assistance but it didn't happen.

Unless it says to do otherwise, I would always approach the staff member if they had not approached me after a reasonable time. If there is a scenario to be followed, then you really have to do your upmost to give the staff the opportunity to respond to you. If they then don't, you can report that back but at least you then have followed your part of the assignment.0 -

Thanks, I did speak to the staff member about the scenario but didn't really get much response. When I was called with the query I did explain exactly what what said and how the staff member was but apparently this wasn't enough response for the scenario so I won't be paid  Kind of defeats the object of MS'ing if they only want the text book responses!0 -
Are the watch jobs self assign? No Matter what you do there will be critics.0

Well I'm a bit miffed! RE called me yesterday to do an urgent aiport visit which needed to be completed and the report in by 3pm. It was a push to get it done but I did it as I like the cafe and they doubled the fee! ( I was also at the airport working anyway)
Anyway, had an assignment query..did they offer you a hot drink, I just ticked yes, no comment as I didn't thnk it justified one. Turns out they wanted a full explaination of what happened ( I just repeated the question back!) I replied to the e mail immedaitely but they have docked me 5 points! Cheeky so and so's. Don' t give a damn, I have nearly 4000 points and very rarely do ms's for them just audits but bloomin' cheek! Next time they call (which they regularly do) think I maybe too busy to help out.0
