I had a terrible one recently too, for grassroots. The staff couldn't be bothered and I wrote them a really bad report. One of the very very few bad comments I have ever written. I am wondering what the reaction will be.
Well, I did one for grassroots more than a month ago and they were terrible and I haven't been paid yet but the one that I've done for that company before, I've been paid by this time. I've queried it but got the lame excuse that it takes time to do the quality control on these reports. I get mystery shopped by Grassroots at work and I know that the reports have to be in by the end of the month (to the client) if they are done at the beginning of the month so I bet you the shop has protested about their bad score. I'll be really annoyed if they don't pay me cos I was just reporting it the way it was.March Wins

One thing in particular that I watch for now is questions that should be answered N/A (e.g. things that only apply to certain categories of outlet, or do not apply in the UK); when I mistakenly answer these, I know I lose points. Another one is "staff member" terminology: I often fall into the trap of using the term that is used in the questionnaire question (e.g. the question may refer to member of staff, but the term React want used in the answer is sales assistant). These issues seem to explain most of my points deductions. I have lost more points when I disregarded one small thing on a yellow sticky.
If anyone else can identify where they have lost points, it might be handy if they posted on here.:)
I did 2 coffee shops the other day. One was so quiet I didn't have a chance to list all the sandwiches, paninis etc without it looking so obvious so I just said "A wide variety of approx 6 sandwiches and 4 paninis". The other, there was a long queue so I was able to make a note on my phone of all the flavours of sandwich, panini, flavours of muffins, traybakes etc. The rest of the reports were pretty much the similar viz the amount of information and terminologt I used. The first report I got 9/10. The second, I got 7!! I have emailed to ask why the discrepancy, and said any pointers they could give to help me get 9 or 10 in all jobs would be appreciated. No reply as yet!!OK I give in - In my defense I am hormonal which has been know to shut down the old brain cells....its a valid excuse and I'm sticking to it!!!
What company is this for please? We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

That's a bit worrying. But what reason would anyone have to make it up, after all it's much easier to write a nice report....I have the staff name, receipt and details of what they were doing in their break if they question me lolThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. I still have not got a reply from React about my scoring, I now think it is a game of Roulette who you get to score your shop! I am completing another one tomorrow and will wait with bated breath for the score.
I did an ice cream one a little while ago, there were no promotions that I could see and yes I did get asked about this after the scoring. No Matter what you do there will be critics.0 -

I'm still waiting for payment for a GR shop which I did at the begining of May! Have not had my report queried so I will wait until the next pay run and if I have not been paid, I will give them what for! Think their client is taking liberties!0 -

You are right I think. I did put SA in the report as they had in the questionairre and not the full spelling...ie Sales Assistant. On one report ...the 10 one ....I actually spelt it. I have also ticked a box that wasn`t relevant so I double check that now.
One of lifes mysteries.... I have 3 similar assignments to do tomorrow so this time I will actually put Sales Assistant and see what happens.0 -
With Helion, if a job has finalized highlighted on my completed assignments, am I about to be paid or are they considering if they will pay me?
This was my first job with them.0 -
I don't really understand Reacts scoring either my last few scores have been 6x 10, 2x 9 (one was submitted the next day but over 24hrs) and 1x 7 (2 different types of shops). I have no idea why I got a 7, when the reports were similar & I'd say my grammar is normally fine, use full sentences etc. I use the wording they use for sales assistant (but I do get confused when they themselves use different wording in different parts). Maybe I'll query my 7 as well. They seem to be marking them very quickly at the moment though. I had one marked within an hour of sumbitting it.
I didn't have any promotions on my ice cream ones either... I'll await a query.0
