    I've been Money Tipped!
Hi, can anyone help with a query I have about an icecream shop. I was asked if there was a specific promotion to which I answered no. Now, a week later, I have been asked what promotions there were. I don't seem to have made a note of it and the shop is not close to me. Do all the shops have the same promotion as I think there is one close to my work?

It always seems that I write pages of notes but never seem to have everything covered. There always seems to be questions in the report that definitely weren't mentioned in the original job notes!

Being a newbie I accepted jobs without really thinking. Now reality has began to set in and I actually think about the costs involved. I have released two electrical jobs as the £5.00 fee with no reimbursement, this would not really cover the petrol and parking costs. However have I shot myself in the foot, should I carry on with these types of assignments to build up a reputation with the company or what. I would appreciate any advice.

As for React I have completed two yesterday evening, one got a 10 another an 8 exactly the same!
No Matter what you do there will be critics.

The ideal situation is to accept these types of jobs if you are in the area anyway! I do agree that to build your reputation up as being reliable it can pay off in the long run. Having said that, I don`t think the likes of RE respect their best shoppers...I would not go out of my way if it was one of their jobs!

You could answer truthfully that you did not notice any promotions...you did not see them, so were they well displayed? I think all promotions are the same in each outlet so you could check your local one use that and hope for the best.

Sorry, but I think they have different promotions. Is it the non cinema ice cream? My local one does all at £1.50 but apparently not many of them have this promotion.

It's the ice cream place in a cinema if that makes sense!

I would go back and look but I am at work today and going on holiday tomorrow. Maybe I should just be truthful but it is my first job with React so it doesn't look that good on me. I scored a 9 as well!!! Can they take points away once it has been scored?

How on Earth do you all get all these jobs from React??? I've been registered with them for years, and all my applications for jobs get turned down - I have contacted them numerous times, and they just tell me that I'll get one soon!

They obviously don't like me for some reason... :-(

I have my first with React soon but to be honest its all a bit hit and miss with the ones that allocate. I did two jobs with Bare got 10's for both and have never got a job since! Ten I cant seem to get allocated the first job at all, so who knows! Its all in the lap of the mystery shopping gods :rotfl:
